Every job begins with layout. Without proper layout a construction project can quickly become a nightmare. (If you’re a contractor reading this you know first-hand because even the best contractors have experienced this.) Lazer Layout is revolutionizing the layout process on a construction site by developing and supplying new technology to greatly reduce the time required to layout a jobsite. The Lazer Layout Projector (LLP) is combining familiar technology, like smartphones and tablets, with new advanced and patent protected technology into the construction process in such a way that it considerably simplifies the layout process, bringing convenience to all who use it.
PRECISION
The LLP is engineered to ensure 3/16” accuracy. Using similar concepts to the current high precision instruments in use and combining it with the laser projector allows contractors to see the blueprint in its real location. Could there be a faster and more accurate way to layout a job site?
EFFICIENCY
Clearly dependent on a building’s geometry, but as a generalization, it is estimated that around 20% of the time spent on a project is spent in layout. The LLP is the solution to drastically reduce this by providing a simple, yet powerful solution to accurately display the location of footings, foundations and future walls. The simplicity of this solution also reduces the manpower required to lay a project out. Between the reduction of time and manpower as well as a reduction of errors that occur using the common layout methods the LLP greatly increases a contractor’s efficiency.

THE PRODUCT
The Lazer Layout Projector (LLP) is a patented portable handheld device that tracks its location on a job site. It identifies what section of the blueprint needs to be projected from its projection window and displays that on the ground in real location. The LLP is capable of being set on a tripod so contractors can project a work area and work with a continual visual of the work area’s layout.
Setup includes setting anchors around a job site and entering their coordinates into the program. Using a smart device with the Lazer Layout app a contractor can interface with the LLP to enter anchor locations, update plans and to see positioning on the jobsite.
